Does your hosting server have a big impact on SEO?

I am using a hosting company called SiteGround

I know that SiteGround hosting is shared hosting

The speed is okay, but I know that shared hosting has a negative impact on SEO

They tell me to only use cloud servers,
but will it have a negative impact on SEO if I continue to use SiteGround?

As long as your site on SiteGround loads quickly and stays reliable, shared hosting shouldn’t hurt your SEO. However, if you notice slowdowns or downtime, switching to a cloud server might be a good move.

I agree, the hosting server in itself doesn't matter, just reliability of the network does, it should have the least downtime, and check the site load times, it should be as little as possible...

The hosting's name in itself is of no value

Shared hosting will have a silent negative impact on any site, so it is better if you get a dedicated hosting server with SSL for your site is much better

Because servers are more important for the On-page SEO try to get dedicated servers asap

Not always mostly when it's an overcrowded server with bad Neighbours.

That's not bad performance wise, they do offer caching and performance optimization.
If you have a large site with lots of data, traffic, resource usage etc you need a vps or dedi.
For small sites it's not necessary you can survive on reputable shared hosts with an optimized high performance website structure.
WordPress with lightweight themes works great from my experience on A2, hostinger, etc

Stability is the key. Try it with dedicated servers.

if you are building any sort of network you may want diversity in your hosting as well. So that its not the same provider for each property

you won't get any problems with Siteground,
the only problem that could be due to hosting is 1. critically impacting the website speed & causing other technical issues for users or/and google bots,
or/and 2. having the website hosted under a bad/spam IPs or/and having a bunch of spammy websites hosted under the same ips,

you won't have neither of these for using siteground, their speed is one of the best when it comes to hosting (still bad value/price from my opinion),
and their price/reputation simply get most of the spammers away, it's well known and used by many legit websites/business',

you should avoid deadly cheap hosting with no/few reviews for your money sites, it could be a server/VDS with a dedicated IP or shared hosting,
1. because you're less likely to get good service (not always the case, you have to make your research),
and 2. because it's simply more likely to be used by spammers and hosting cheap pbns, link farms, etc...
you don't want your website having the same ip as these websites, it could raise some spam algos and get you penalized

You only need to reconsider your hosting if you experience poor loading speeds, frequent downtime, or insufficient bandwidth allocation. If you manage large amounts of data or provide services to multiple countries, a CDN network hosting solution is recommended. Otherwise, SiteGround should be sufficient.
