It has been like a year and a half since I last messed with YA and I never really did mess with it that much, I heard so much good about it, but is it still a valid traffic source in todays current IM world? Has anything changed? But specifically does the whole ask a question on one account answer on another tactic still work well?

It's NoFollow so no SEO juice from it for google (though some from Yahoo obviously). I mainly use it to try and get targeted traffic, the only downside is there's always someone eager to report you if you don't cloak your intentions well enough.

Yahoo Answers works great to bring in traffic. Although they don't provide ******** backlinks, Yahoo Answers still continues to bring my site a good amount of targeted traffic each day. I've answered only a few questions and receive daily traffic from those answers.

what are some tactics I should follow to avoid getting banned ? Like If I ask question about downloading stuff for free? Or I'm trying to send people to websites that are monetized through sharecash/links lockers/content lockers so forth

Do people still follow links that are not clickable? I have always thought I needed to post with lvl2 account to get clickable links. But maybe it would be better to not bother cuz then I can make many lvl1 accounts and post and then I don't have to worry about 1 getting banned with tons of posts and losing everything.
