Is copyright a problem on X? Do I need to give credits to post memes on X to be able to get monetized? For example https://x.com/TheFigen_ How does this account make money? They post reposts and memes/videos that are shared millions times online already.

Is there a mechanism like copyright strike as Youtube?

I don't think you can monetize third party content, but if you create them, maybe?

It's an American company so DMCA strike would apply

Do you mean that those big accounts posting memes, funny gifs don't even earn 1 penny on that platform?

well, if it uses someones else's IP a court might think differently, depends on jurisdiction etc.

The issue here is can you monetize them on X, I don't know
