I have just started an autoblog with Wordpress Caffeinated Content. Now I wanna know if I should use wordpress uniquifier with it? Does it actually work? Any other wordpress article rewriter plugin that I should use?

I've read that the method uniquifier uses will fool copyscape but not Google. It's not really a rewriter as it supposedly injects codes into the post in a way that the human readers won't notice so it reads the same.

I've looked at the results of other rewriters and found them to be very human unreadable. Being a developer, I've decided to work on my own plugin that will look grammatically correct and unchanged to the human eye and yet look like something very different to a text scanning bot like a webspider. Not the same way as uniquifier though.

I'll put it out here on BHW for review when it's done in case anyone is interested.

I was a user - no more. It craps up your RSS feeds and absolutely does not affect how the search engines look at your content. And Pete Drew is copying it as his next big thing - what a gimp.

It is supposed to make the content of a website look "unique" enough to pass the duplicate content logic that google has in place. I'm not sure how the Wp-uniquifier works but I've heard it injects codes that don't affect human readability but may have thrown off the dupe content filters... many say it doesn't anymore.

Well the only thing it does is that it hides stuff from copyscape...

I think many use one of the markov-type sentence restructuring plugins like Writeagain. I did see some that say that dupe content isn't penalized.

I don't like the sentence rewriters because it becomes apparent that the blog writer either:

    - doesn't speak the native language well
    - or is a machine.

The plugin I'm trying to finish up converts some words into the images of those words. Not entire sentences but just a word here or there, based on settings. The human eye reads the image words and the bot scrapers read the alt tags on the images. My next step is to add a feature that allows for rotating set of user inputted keywords to be used as the alt tags on the images. That way, they may show up faster in search engines.

I tried an earlier version of this with just a single alt tag and dupecop showed that it was 43% unique and yet the human eye saw it as completely readable.

I'm guessing Google could do OCR scanning on images, but that sounds like a LOT of processing power to be used billions of posts across millions of blogs.

The only down part I think I see is that an RSS feed FROM one of these blurred posts (I call my plugin wp-blur) may read funny as it would show the keywords in the image alt tags and not the real words that were converted to images.

So, does this sound like something others would want? It's almost done.

I don't really know what kind of answers people are looking for when it comes to this plugin. I have used it on a few autoblogs to test the results and I have had zero problems when it comes to getting pages indexed (and survive) in the Google index. The main issue I have had is trying to insert adsense code into the "uniqueified" posts because it effects the tracking (or so it seems).

That being said, I have had few problems getting duplicate content indexed as well. When I read quotes like doczoidberg's, my guess is that people aren't taking the time to do their own tests and relying solely on the comments of others on the forums. It takes a couple hours and $1.19 for a .info domain name to run your own tests and form your own opinions...a very wise investment!

I have tried it on some 10 blogs with duplicated content for a few months.

So far most of 9 blogs are well indexed up to few thousand pages. But one site which had 5000 pages indexed by G is now 0. No more in G's cache. Don't know if it's due to this.

Can't say also if it was the reason for my pages being indexed as other sites without the plugin also got indexed.

Probably need to observe more on my sites to make a concrete observation.

have read many reviews but never used it by myself. So can't say the perfect answer dude. But if people are using then it must work.
