Definitely not from a racist angle.
Does 'white voice' (Sorry to Bother You reference) works in IM?
Anyone tried it? How successful do you get with it :P

What u mean by white voice? U mean that Texas accent? Lol

Do you mean "Standard American English", the one that tv reporters will use?

I just made reference to the movie 'Sorry to Bother you'. All just tongue in cheek.

You racist!
I am not, i clearly mentioned it.
Sorry even if it remotely sounds that way.
Maybe we come across a world of difference, in understanding things.
I will edit (delete) it out, if it sounds that way.
Or it will be helpful if a mod does it.

I think any person who has done telemarketing from India can tell you that "white voice" is a real thing that makes a big difference. Working in a call center, you can really see the difference in how people treat you. I have worked in call centers in Canada, and we have a large Indian population here, and people will yell and scream and insult people who have an Indian accent, but they can call the guy next to him who is also Indian with no accent and say "finally I reached a real American!" (even though they are both Indian, and we are in Canada). I feel really bad for guys with thick Indian accents who have to work on the phone.

What the fuck are you even trying to say? We don't understand the thread

accent does not has any color. Clear communication always has advantage.

Oooh I see what u mean now. Well yeah it work . People gonna believe in what u promote better not if u have an Indian accent ( no offense to my Indian friends I love them)

I think, my english accent is nice but sometimes you can hear Eastern European accent.
We can't do anything with that. English world, especialy USA or UK, haven't any respect for other languages.
There are 6500 languages in the world. For me, personaly, English is poor language.
