Does VidIQ have any kind of preferential treatment with YouTube?

I just vinculated my channel to their web application and I did not give a damn about their title, description and thumbnail recommendations.

But some of the videos I have done some modifications and I have published the changes through their web have immediately boosted.

I only have one issue and that is I don't want the app to authenticate my YT channel. Otherwise, I would have continued to use the app.

Overall, both vidIQ and tubebuddy are crap.
