I've been thinking about using prosociate to import amazon products to my niche site. But I've read on a couple of blogs that these kind of plugins hurt your rankings. Is this true or just imaginary?
I know that importing thousands of duplicate products + descriptions from amazon isn't good, but does google rank your site lower just for using such a plugin? Even if you manually write a unique description for every post?
Would love to know more about this.

    Thanks!

i'm not very clear that it will affect your ranking or not but; in case if you import duplicate products and description's from amazon to your site this will negatively refelect's to you serp ranking..

These need to include a good spinner or the ability to use the top spinners APIs, so it can rewrite the description.
It would be cool also that you could use an option that the items go into a draft and that you could be able to modify (if needed) the descriptions (just in case it's so so) and/or pre-approve a bunch of items. Sort of a review.
