Does using add-on domains affect ranking?

If I use one hosting account that has all of my sites hosted with add-on domains, would this negatively affect rankings of the add-on domain sites?

I'm not doing anything to get any of the sites in trouble (PBNs, Black Hat SEO, etc) so I'm not worried about the server getting banned.

Just curious as I'm trying to reduce my hosting bills every month. I have 6 sites I'd like to get on one account; moving from all WordPress hosting to a business-level account. As far as bandwidth limits and those types of considerations, I don't think that will be a problem with my hosting provider.

Eventually, I'll have everything on a dedicated server, but until this holiday season beefs up my wallet, that is beyond my reach.

Also, please excuse my noobness Like a lot of people here, I am learning as I go.

No problems at all. For Google is all the same if you are using shared hosting or have addon domains.

No, they will not have any negative effect at all on your rankings unless you're using addon domains as your 'pbn'. Don't do that.

Thanks, good to know. If there's one thing I've learned on BHW, its that PBNs are way too dangerous for someone with my level of experience. Even for the experienced, it seems like a huge gamble. A gamble that can pay-off big time but a gamble nonetheless. Two of my sites are semi-related so I will be keeping one of them on its current host so I can do a very small amount of PBN-type stuff. Very small.
