Does URL Ban is perm on Reddit?

Hey guys,

So reddit banned my URL, I am curious, is it perm or it goes away after few weeks\months? (I didn't spam this URL though).

I remember they banned one URL back then and after two months i was able to use it again. Just curious about this one.

ive never heard of a domain that was bloked being able to again but i think i never tried it again one it got filtered. perhaps it was that subreddit that was banning it speifically? if its sitewide reddit i dont think they undo it but if im wrong that would be a new revelation

How do you know it got banned? Does it tell you, or could it be that your account got shadowbanned?

You say you didn't spam this URL, but it got banned. How did it get banned if you didn't spam it?

People reached me through DM to ask where I got the "product" that I am offering. It got banned due to sending multiple times the domain through DM (They started the chat so I thought it wouldn't be matter). Anyways.. Banned :d

Interesting. Did you try to post it on another account?

After the recent reddit comment removals, I thought this happened to me. It was just that subreddit and that account that had the issue.

I was able to use another account and comment with it just fine. Have you tried?

How many times did you DM it, that seems very harsh and an easy way to get rid of competitor links lol
 
I think they have some kind of internal trust/spam score for every outgoing domain. So it's clear that once it's spammy - drop it.
 
Its permanent, you should purchase another domain and redirect it to the old domain.
 
Permanent, I tried posting with same domains like 2-3 years later and the domains were still flagged.
 
You can contact the reddit support if you think it's false positive.
 
It depends on the subreddit or the admin that is applying the ban as you say previously they ban you for a couple of months like a warning others just hit the perma ban immediately so it depends on the interpretation of the rules for each mod

Bans can be undone if you contact them. But they rarely are.

Once the link gets blacklisted it's over
