Lots of my pages are in 4-10. My content is 2000-2500 words range. Would adding 1500-2000 words more increase possibility to upward movement?

I would say yes! Google likes frequently updated websites.

Keep adding fresh content. Don't be afraid of tweaking existing articles too.

Fresh content is very important and can definitely help you rank!

Maybe yes, and maybe not.. if the current articles that you published not gain new keywords, no ranking it means google not like it.. then i think simply adding more content will not help. Better try getting couple good links first, and if that not help.. maybe keyword density is not good, or simply competition is too hard.

not significantly, unless it was last edited in 2015 andu have schema date tags, then u modify it without fuking things up - then u can get boost

Would certainly go for fresh and unique content. Just keep on updating your content and you will get upward results.

I doubt adding or changing the primary content of the page would get your page ranked higher - as the page already has content, and further changing that would change the metrics/algorithm in the process, which is unpredictable and non-measurable.
But updating content in terms of having people participating on the comments section (which is located below your primary content) - then yes, as that can be translated to higher user interactivity/user engagement, which signals to the search engine that your site is having some valuable content, and is engaging the visitors to further participate on your site by submitting comments, etc.
Consistently changing your meta-description (or automated updates by SEO plugin/tools), will also contribute to the first scenario ^ , thus, I doubt that would be good.
Otherwise, if your pages are all stuck in 4-10 on the SERP, another way would be to boost your site's authority by having very high quality links from news sites, etc, as those would gradually improve your site's authority, which is synonymous with higher ranking in the process.

IMO, you can add more words to your content (videos, infographics, images...), just don't fix or replace the old content which is already ranked in search engine.

Ofcourse yes if you update your content rgularly your content will get rank higher. Google always loves the updated content

Content is King! Always refresh and current pages as well as adding new content pages as well. If you have problems to rank, I would also suggest for you maybe to make changes in your meta descriptions. If you don´t have images, add some if it is possible.

Yes definitely add new content BUT make sure that it is the highest quality, that it engages the reader, that it is helpful and comprehensive and answers any and all questions you can think of that your audience would want to know. Also the best length is over 2500 words!

Can be because of low quality content.

I absolutely agree. So many people are filling their sites with terrible quality content to try to raise ranking and yes google does want LOTS of content but they also want HIGH QUALITY. Creating high quality content that meets googles requirements takes time and thought. People don't seem to realise that pumping out loads of poor quality content is the opposite of what google wants!!!

anyway, that's my rant over, have a good day everyone :)

Thanks for replying.

So, I would be adding a new para or 2 about the the product reviews that I already have but wont rewrite the previously written content. But should I use webmasters fetch to get the article reindexed or let it happen naturally?

I am revamping 8-10 articles in one go and see how they behave in next 2 weeks. Is that fine?

New content is always good, search engines notice that the site is up and maintained, which will affect the site ranking.

Of course, you must add new content as regularly as you can. But, obviously, it has to be good. Don't just aim for quantity - quality is the key to success. It's crucial to make the content interesting, engaging and relatable. Not to mention that the reader has to be interested in it. Even if it's not something they might opt to usually read, if it's high-quality, there's a better chance they will return and read more.
