Does Unique Traffic Helps in SERPS and Authority?

I went around to shop for some services from Fiverr and I found somebody offering unique visitors to your site. As a newbie, does the new and unique visitors really helps? Also, would it actually hurts the bounce rate on the Google Analytics?

The most important question is...should i even consider purchase this service. Please advice .. Thanks.

I do not think that traffic will help increase your SERPS results not to mention Authority. It is a very odd thing to think. Why would traffic boost your rankings and your authority, pretty much it makes no sense!
 
Many of the traffic services offer junk or fake bot traffic.

To increase your SERPs build quality links. Increasing SERPs for the right keywords will bring traffic. Targeted traffic that converts will get you sales.
 
From my own experience it does. If your site is getting a lot of visitors, Google will take that information, and they will value your site more than low population ones.
Web sites are there for visitors, if people are coming on your site (via bookmarks, entering address manually...), it means you have good content, and Google loves good content
 
But if the unique traffic actually register in Google Analytics it should meant something right? Some traffic service provide their own report, which i don;t really care much about. However, when these traffic whether it is from human or not, it ought to be something to think about when it register in the analytics. I would think that would affect much on the SERP but since SERP itself have 200+ signals ... traffic could mean something.


Also, if i were to build highquality links but my site traffic was low....wouldn't that trigger Big G as unnatural linking. Imagine you only have 100 visitor this far but you already have 2000 backlinks (eventhough it is High PR good quality)....would penguin view that as NO NO.......
 
Quality traffic for example facebook/pinterest/twitter helps to boost your SERP. Even better combinations is some quality direct traffic+good time on site (2min+) + more than 3 impressions per unique visitor. Cheap direct traffic wont give you the same effect if it isn't from reputable websites.
 
Fake traffic is only good if it converts, or to inflate your stats. Otherwise, stay away from it.
 
bro make backlinks as organic as possible, try to guest blog if you can then input your backlink as anchor text within the article or submit quality comments with your anchor text in it
 
I think yes, if the visitors are real and is lots of them. Google will see that your site is popular and give it more ranks. Google ranks sites with thousands of reasons, this is definitely one of them.
 
Even if it did, you would have to have Analytics installed otherwise they would have no idea that you're getting lots of traffic.

Real traffic helps in that it might result in legit real backlinks. Other than that, I wouldn't imagine that it has any impact.
 
No, buying traffic will not help your serps or authority, the only purpose of buying web traffic is to make conversions. If the traffic is targeted it should improve your bounce rate
 
Buying traffic won't help your SERP. If you have adsense on your site this kind of traffic will get you banned. also having backlinks with no visitors doesn't trigger anything
 
Buying that garbage traffic will also increase your bounce rate which won't help serps and like they said, adsense will ban you for it. Lose/Lose!
 
Without a doubt it helps. Google is looking at time on page and the bounce rate. Fake traffic can hurt you because the bounce rate is 100% and the time on page is poor.

Google considers this a "user experience" and fake traffic looks like a bad user experience.
 
seo is like a puzzle. to increase your traffic will help you if you build links to your site. in fact you are modelling a site, which gets traffic from eg social media campaigns, viral traffic.. these visitors will naturally build backlinks if your content is valuable. so keep on building backlinks yourself and model that strategy. it will improve your rankings.
 
also if you are generating social shares and such and you dont have a reasonable percentage compared to overall traffic (10 visitors and 10 shares for instance for a bad ratio) then you will want to get some high quality traffic in some fashion to lower that ratio and make it look natural.
