Does translating a page affects SEO?

    If i translate a site to 5 different languages do i haft to have 5 different keywords?

    I am promoting a site that wants traffic from Europe in general, should i be creating backlinks with translated keywords as well?

    Appreciate if someone could help

    Yes. If you want to rank in german search results, for example, backlinks in that language will help you.

    I've been doing this with a few sites in portuguese and my sites are ranking higher (not sure if that's the main cause though).

    I am based in Greece wich is my main market, its very difficult to create quality backlinks here because there are not many sites that have a high pr so my main source must be social bookmarks
