Hello,

So straight to the question:
Does traffic increase SEO?

Let's say I order 100 visits a day to my website, will it affect my ranking?

If yes, need the visiters to be country targeted?

Thank you

If your website is very much interactive it’ll help to increase the search result ranking with noticeable visibility. In current scenario only the dynamic and interactive websites gets advantages to gain good number of organic traffic and you need to take following strategies. Initially it may take 1–2 months time but these activities can ensure a good number of consistent organic traffic in SEO.

Yes, it affects ranking may be positive or negative, so you should be ready to face it. Organic traffic will be more effective compared to paid traffic imo.
So, try to gain traffic organically by posting contents on blogs and build backlinks simultaneously.

If it is increasing naturally, it is good to improve the ranking as much as it can. :)

Random traffic? NO! But if you can get targeted traffic, there's a chance you'll get backlinks that will increase your serp position.

Maybe visitors increase your rank if it's good traffic with a high retention rate

If you're talking about traffic as just a hit count, then probably answer is no.

Today a 6 year old kid can make a bot and drive couple of thousands hits per hour easily. So that would be too easy.

But sessions DO affect rankings. Google collects direct and indirect feedback from users to tweak the SERP.
Consider these parameters:

- Bounce rate
- Exit rate
- Average time on site
- Session quality distribution in Google Analytics
- Number of pages per session

These metrics should be compared to market average to make a conclusion.

There's also one more connection between traffic and rankings that is less obvious.

The more users click your backlinks, the stronger they are.

Hope, that will help. Good luck!

Yes but it depends upon real human visits of target country.

Your traffic needs to send the correct signals to Google. High bounce rate and low time on page are bad signals and high traffic will hurt you. Long time on page and high traffic, low bounce rate are relevant signals for SEO.

The amount of traffic itself is not a ranking factor, but signals such as bounce rate are taken into consideration. So make sure your site is engaging with quality content.

I am agree with the comment above - the same system as in youtube. For SEO, for the search result ranking, it is more effective to have 200 visitors that watch the entire video and than click on another your video, than to have 2000 visitors that have only seen some seconds of your video. The cuality counts.

If your site compels a vistor to go to page A to get an exclusive download, and page 2 for a private video, page three for a compelling list of resources, etc, that's the kind of dwell bait that will make the direct traffic build both yur rankings and authority.

Yes traffic will help SEO, when you're building links, get traffic from social media e.g. Facebook first, this will make it look like your site is being shared on social media which gives good cause for your site to receive links.

Work on the user experience part of website. When a user visits your site, he must stay on your website for at least 5 minutes. That will decrease the dwell time of your website. If your website is receiving organic traffic, then yes it has a positive effect on your seo.
