Does tiktok shadowban DMs

Hi, I opened my tiktok account few days ago and already got like 200 friends, I still gain followers everyday but I wanted to use the $40 on my account, I sent message to all my followers, hoping to get few clicks one my landing page, but then I didn't get a single visit, and non of my message was replied, I decided to create a new account and then I messaged my self, but I did not receive the message in the second account
Which means non of the 200 people got friends got my message
What do you think might be wrong
I heard tiktok shadowbans account but I still receive new views and followers from my video but my friends don't see my messages
Please what do you think is going on

That would be pretty easy to test and it sounds like a reasonable hypothesis.

My guess is you decided to spam tiktok after reading this guide https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-tiktok-cpa-for-40-day-for-beginners.1227018/

You can make money with tiktok for sure but if you think you can easily spam it like explained in the guide you're in for a surprise.
Tiktok knows cpa spam very well back when it was musically it was heavily spammed with cpa links.
Growing accounts is the way to go, it's not that hard just look for interesting stuffs to post.

I find it hard to believe OP of that guide really used tiktok to make $40, he didn't even know url in DM is not clickable "(don't use .VIP .fun .xyz domains, they easily get banned)". Man links are not clickable how do they get banned?
