Watch time is the most important. All social media platforms want visitors to stay as long as possible so they can show ads. The more people stay on your video, the more the algorithm will promote it.
 
No, of course not!!!

TikTok works with the FY Page system. Purchased views do not come from FY page but from direct click on the video. So if 1000 views are bought, the video will end up on the FY page. And if no one watches it there, it won't go viral. After that it might have 1100 views. The video itself must be good, buying views brings nothing at all

Every time you post a video on TikTok, the algorithm will send you an x amount of views to measure the engagement, and if it's good enough, this process will repeat itself with a higher x amount of views each time.
here are some tips you can follow to decrease the bounce rate of your video and make sure your it keeps getting views constantly:
  • make sure the first 3 seconds are interesting to watch(if possible, do some color correction)
  • use viral music only and follow trends
  • try to push your viewers to comment on the video somehow

How do you find tiktok trends? Besides scrolling on the app itself. A lot of trends go viral quick, and it's hard to catch up and ride that wave unless you're one of the 1st people to hop on it. Is there a website or specific method to finding new trends in your niche? And an easy way to emulate them?

The trend is not a trend until so many people start doing it. I'm using the Discover Section, and sometimes we use buzzsumo

I don't think only quantity of view can go you viral. It's all will depend on watch time and people interest

Traffic source is a major factor and that's something that can't be faked. If you have 1k fake views with 125% watch time and then 1k views from the FYP with 10% watch time, it's pretty obvious.

Tiktok will push your videos to other countries outside of your home country in some cases? If so, why?
