Does This Will Kill Facebook Traffic ?

This is old news, i mean the articles you are sharing, but the true is that a little less than 24 hours ago all traffic went down to less than 50% as you say, and the worst thing is that not only fanpages are being affected, but also profiles have less reach when posting content, not only links,this is very very bad for people who use viral scripts or content lockers as myself, unfortunatly i belive this is permanent so not much to do about it

DAMN ..we need to know whats going on . and why specially the last 24 hour traffic went down !!!! if you got any news please let us know

they might have implemented something new, if they did they'll probably announce it soon, it just the never ending war better facebook trying to weed out spam and the spammers finding better methods to ...well spam :) .

Though it becomes debatable what is spam and what isn't. For example the second article says:
"By measuring how frequently people on Facebook who visit a link choose to like the original post or share that post with their friends, we've been able to better detect spammy links. "
I don't think that having lazy followers means that your content i spam, some people just don't hit the like/share button that often no matter how good the post is.

I have also faced the same problem. I don't understand why the fanpages are main target? Why you are thinking this will be permanent?

Because FB wants to reduce reach and are looking for any excuse, to let them do it
