Does this type of general blog still work?

For example
Canicleanit - a general blog about if I can clean x
Whatisthis - a blog general blog about what is x
What causes - a blog about what what causes x

And build it with ai content.
What do you guys think? How long to succeed compared to a niche blog?

These definitely work if you can do it in bulk.

Canicleanit, Whatisthis, What causes are all question-answer types content so they must have some search volumes and search intents.

If you manually build it with AI writers, no it's not worth it. They can hardly cluster keywords. Most of the time they only show up in title-specific searches. If it's auto-AI content, it's worth ofc.

I dont see much info about auto ai content.
But I know if its become spam site, Google eventually shots it down and deindexes the pages.

Yes they still works. People are scraping PAA KW and generating articles in bulk.

Sorry I didn't notice Canicleanit and Whatisthis you mentenioned are actual sites. I thought you were merely talking about you want to write these styles of content with AI.

I doubt AI content can work for these type of content. I don't know about the other two sites, but at least for canicleanit.com, there content shows research and verticle knowledge.
I doubt your AI writer can output more than 2 paragraphs of valuable content. Then AI will go off topic or repeats itself and output non relevant content.
Just my 0.02, I've never tried these myself.

I have seen these types of blogs outperforming specific niche blogs. So, yeah they work but I don't know if AI will crack the code or not.

general blogs require too much time, ambitious team of writers and budget. And they aren't very profitable.
