I was wondering if there is an online tool/app/website/extension that would allow you to search for a picture from Instagram and give you the OP. A bit like "search image on google" but for Instagram.

And if it doesnt exist, maybe one of you should make it :p

I know there is one (an extension I think) that can get you the websites that specific picture is posted on but not only on IG. I used it once but do not remember the name of it. Maybe someone else knows it. Good luck!
 
So basically you want to do a reverse search: input the image as a file and get the OP? Is this correct?
 
Doesn't 4k stogram? I'm not sure but you should check I guess.
 
Drag and drop into google images! Problem solved !

6. Social Catfish
 
Sounds like a great idea for a black hat tool. It will come with a price of course. The real question is, will there be a number of users if someone create a service like that? We are living in a era where reuploading isn't a method any longer
 
There are plenty of these services just google "search original image source" and you will get a ton. Maybe you could filter IG results if you get some..
