Does this tool exist? If not why?

So I know ranker X creates new web 2.0 properties and populates them with content etc.

But is there a tool that scrapes for expired web 2.0 and then does the same thing? Populates them with content and links etc.

As they are obviously way more powerful

That would be sick. Not heard of one tbh

Private ones certainly exist. There was a public one a while ago which would scrape and register accounts if I remember rightly but it wasn't maintained.

Yeah seems weird no one has created one. I know how to do all the individual bits so I'm considering putting it in my development pipeline. Just feels odd no one has created this product yet, unless there is a reason that I'm going to find after investing hundreds of hours into it haha

Built one... I want to say last year. I had the same findings as a guy I know who had a custom one as well. Even doing it at scale moderating out the spammy referring domains the links just don't carry much weight. And that won't have got any better.

Each to their own strategies but personally I wouldn't bother.

Interesting. So you are saying it picked up too many spammy web 2.0 that needed manual reviewing because they can't be algorithmically filtered out?

There are a few ways you can go about it. You can apply automatic filtering which can pick out most spam and use whatever makes it through or apply a manual bottleneck at the end so you can double check the properties backlinks before you drop a link.

But that's not what I'm saying. I think whether you leave it 100% automated or you manually check whatever makes it past the filters the links are just not worth it. Between my testing, his testing and a lot of reverse engineering SERPS I'm yet to see anywhere but the marketplace claim results.

It's been a while since I've worked with backlinks now but if anything these are likely to get less effective. But going by the marketplace plenty of people still seem to use them in their campaigns so there's probably a market to resell them at the very least.

would be a real interesting product :)

Doesn't exist, may be if you get it custom built. Web2.0s are a hassle to automate, every service, even those for fresh ones struggles.

Supagrowth offers a tool for finding expired web 2.0 ... I only had success with tumblr but I could get 20 nice tumblrs with high metrics.

Some keywords are easy to rank just with expired web 2.0s

Tumblrs work for you?

Hi m8. I cant assure it as I built other links to the site. But I build Backlinks with some keyword variations to my money site from those tumblrs and my site is ranking for those kws... so yes they work imp

Anyone saying that Web 2.0s, new and expired ones, are not working (including tumblr) is either not doing it right, or need more link power. Don't expect miracles, but they can certainly help. Expired ones kick in faster, but if you do new properties the right way and are willing to wait a bit, then they are quite useful.

That being said, I wouldn't fully automate search and registering. I would like to check number of links, type of links, ref. domains, etc before registering. Of course, you could also register them all and later choose which to use. If automating this, then some filters would be useful, like MOZ or Majestic or Ahrefs data. I populate them manually always.

For now, one can always find expired tumblrs or other web2.0s, filter them based on preferred criteria, trim them to username, and then use those to register them with a tool of your choice. In rankerx you can put usernames in spintax format and then try to bulk register them.

I use them for 100MS keywords with buying intent, they work perfectly well for these and 10 articles ranking for 100ms = 1000ms, which with buying intent has high conversion rate.

pretty good money
