Does this strategy work ?

Apparently everything mentioned in the email looks fake. The senders name looks like Indian and they are claiming to be from Bangladesh. Why would any company provide full correct address if they are threatening people to get their work done!

Just ignore this and move on.

They scrape and send bazillion e-mails, so at least some of the websites give them links. Probably the site owner is unware of what link building "tactic" they are using thought. I am too lazy to return them the favor with some 100k links for $5 from Fiverr.

It can work, just as there are people who pay $500 in BTC after receiving an email saying that a hacker has invaded your computer and recorded you while you were on a porn site...hmmm, I think the name of it is scam/blackmail, not strategy.

first of all, a scammer does not reveal who is he and where he lives. the address the name and everything he is sending looks fake to me. I don't think he will do anything. if you are still concerned try to contact the given Seo company and if they are really sending you this kind of mail file a complained against them.

Just ignore that. There is a possibility that a newbie is sitting behind the other computer copying and pasting this to all the contact forms he can find.

He or she is a joker. Just laugh loudly and delete this email :D
