Years ago I foolishly gave out my Skype to some low-quality sellers here, it's either some logo designers or crappy backlink package sellers.

Now my Skype gets bombarded daily with scams, either for Bitcoin or something else... they are adding me and a hundred others to a Skype group everyone always leaves the group, and there is no discussion whatsoever. They do try to share files or offers.. I am just wondering what's the point of it???

I am sure I am not alone here, most of these people are for sure other bhw members who have shared their skype with certain sellers.

I'm equally a victim of that. I've had lots of conversations with customers and those i intended patronizing but I can't tell which of them is sharing my skype.

Every once in a while I get added to a random group.

Just like the Skype issue, I still get lots of unsolicited emails from agencies that want to render one service or the other. I doubt they get conversions that way because even the email copies are horrible, the grammar is even worse.

These people rely on finding a few people who really need them among a huge amount of uncertain resources.
Exactly this. It can get annoying, but there's the upside too. I have established good connections with such outreach sellers and I regularly use some of what they offer, small digital stuff that I need to complete tasks online. You just have to be cautious, but there are some legit sellers that make their living that way.

PS: English is not their strongest point.

Nah. They don't outreach like that.

They just drop a file or some other bullshit scam and move on with their day.

I wouldn't call a file sent as a "bitcoin hack" a decent way to outreach to anyone, and I definitely wouldn't recommend having any relationships with such goofs.

They are casting a wide net.

If one out of 10,000 people falls for crypto scam, it will be worth it to the scammers.

Oh I got it, you get the lowest end of Skype spam. I guess I was spared from that. For me they try to add me and send their offer, all kind of social media services and other related digital products.

EDIT: Lately I'm being assaulted with software keys offering, but hey, I might even need one at some point :)

Software keys are another thing I was getting a while back but they seemingly have evolved from that.

"I am just wondering what's the point of it???" Of course, they trying to scam you

Guess who saw this post here yesterday and immediately tried to improve their strategy because I made fun that they never say anything :D

If you need pointers as such, and never thought about it before then you are likely an absolute moron.
