Does this site suck?

I've been browsing this site for some time now. I find it very hard to find anything useful. For example I've been looking for a good email harvester and every link is either dead or a virus. It seems like there's so much junk to wade through it's not worth it. I've read some fantastic articles but it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

I read posts where people are thanking the poster but I must be getting there too late. All this site is doing in practice is wasting a lot of time. Are there better sites?

Am I going about this the wrong way? Am I wrong in searching for things I need? What's the best way to use this forums in a way that I can obtain useful software and information? This is very frustrating.

BTW, I've been using Active Campaign for years to send bulk email so I'm not totally clueless. What am I doing wrong?

By using search and your "BRAIN" of course if post is from 2002 then it's pretty much dead information.
And useful software is not usually free so don't expect much from free ones.

Start off by posting in the "Email marketing"-section...

But I agree, too many people are starting too many threads.

And don't stop using the search function

try googling and know other black hat forums... because most of the software is in DNS list...
