Sorry to all those mighty advance guy, coming here again with a NOOB question.

Wel I try to think of many method to make money, well tried a few, anyway since I am not good at convincing someone to buy something, most people recommend that you should build something that is related to your passion, well I have two passion.

Firs self development = meditation, Yoga, reading spiritual and self improvement book etc. but I feel like I am not yet ready to talk or write about this stuff, since i myself is still learning about it.

Other one is watching asian and korean drama, = I can talk whole lot about it.

So my plan is to create lots of fanpage and twitter, based on the character or the show, then the traffic I get from there I can use it to sell, T-shirt or a towel, any clothing that is related to those shows on my site.

Does this seem like a good idea ?

No, I don't think it's a good idea. Following your passion is BS and there's plenty of money to be made in un-sexy niches.
And the korean tv company may take you down for using their brand on merchandise.

Doesn't sound like it will make you much money anytime soon. Sometimes, your passsion won't always pay off, and like said above, less sexy niches should be explored instead. However, it's all up to you, but short term, I don't see this making much money at all.

You never know... maybe it would be a good niche! You should try this using content locking and see how it goes!

Always, always follow your passion! Don't listen to nay sayers, there is money to be made in any market. It's much better to pursue something you care about rather than chasing the next big marketing wave.

Now as to a given niche, you need to determine what type of traffic you can generate so do that first before doing any heavy investment. Generate the traffic and then figure out your conversion rates and scale up accordingly. But always research first before investing heavily in a new niche.
