So will it speed up ranking? Like from what I heard, getting crawled to getting rank can take months , like 3-6 months...

Yup. Schema tag is one of the powerful strategy in onpage optimization.
Especially for local optimization (hotels, restaurants, movers etc) its very much useful.
Yeah it will quickly indexed in search engine. it helps alot.

Schema markups (rich snippets) help to drive more traffic to your site by improving the attractiveness of your listing and consequently increasing your CTR. However, they probably don't influence rankings directly.
