I am actually pretty good at chatting and connecting with ppl on social media ONLY, but when someone talks to me irl, I suddenly freak out and dont know what to say

Its weird because I can have a whole conversation online, but face to face I become awkward and quiet.

Does this happen to anyone? Why do you think this happens, and how did you get better at being social irl?

It’s super common screens give you time to edit your thoughts, but you can practice irl by starting with low-stakes chit-chat with baristas or cashiers.

Same here.. in online probably talk for hours when comes to irl suddenly I forget entire language :D

This happens to a lot of people.

Sometimes it is not that you don’t know how to socialize you just need a keyboard and a few minutes to become the person you actually are

Yeah, pretty common. Online you get time to think before replying, while face to face there’s more pressure to react on the spot.

What helps most is just getting more reps in with small conversations instead of trying to be super social all at once.

actually its happen by some ppl because they have lack of confidence,
