I contact the owner and ask it if domain it's for sale,he ask for 6 figure amount

Yeah easily 6 figures. Massive amounts of traffic when he is the first spot which shouldnt be hard to do.

Check this one out... domain name completely unrelated and is on the top 500 of the Alexa rank, number one on several keywords.

Remember, people shoping online want an easy up-to-date website that can convert several international currencies on the go.

I visit the above website several times a week, but access it through google because, for weird reasons, I can't seem to memorize de URL.

With a "currencyconverter.com" adress, imagine how many visits wouldn't it get.

The name is worth a lot, but IMHO not 6figures......A name is only worth what it'll help you make - and that's PROFIT, meaning income less expenses.......How does this URL help you? In this case most ppl won't type "currencyconverter.com" in the address bar - they'll just google "currency converter" to find the currently leading one. Now - would your site even appear on Google's top pages? Having these words as your URL will help your SERPs just a bit, as most important are inbound links.......So you'll have to invest in SEO, and the same amount of SEO will get you about the same placing even if you just use something like mybestwebtools.com/currencyconverter or maybe currency-converter-online.com . Again - most people won't enter your site by URL anyway.......The good part, though, is that with all currency conversion sites monetization would be easy. Your ads will lead to currency trading and forex sites - and these pay really well for traffic.......(Sorry about the ..... signs in this reply - the platform I'm currently using won't post linebreaks, so I relaced them with dots)

For all of you thinking you want Forex domains and you think this one is worth 6 digits..... Sweet I have over 600 domains for sale to you all. Most 8+ years old and almost all better than currencyconverter!!

The domain alone is not worth 6 figures. The site may be.

Certainly worth a bit. Maybe not six figures.
