jollyjaunts(dot)co(dot)uk
Am still a noob when it comes to SEO

OK, so here's how it would be looked at in the system for my signature.

  • Check Screenshot.com and make sure nothing dodgy comes up. Tick.
  • Go to Archive.org and make sure nothing dodgy comes up. 3/4 of a tick. It seems the last thing it did was get redirected to the new company website. No biggie, but it's there.
  • Go to Majestic and check TrustFlow. Not a huge biggie, but it can be a decent indication. OK so the www version has TrustFlow of 20. That's pretty good! Tick.
  • Check both Ahrefs AND Majestic for backlinks to check if it's good diversity. Fail. It doesn't have a huge number of referringdomains, and the links it does have aren't from authority sites. Any sort of directory link is a negative, you don't want those. It only really has links from what looks like business listings, not really contextual.

So. No. I would not sell/use this domain myself. It has OK "Metrics", but the overall backlink profile is pretty weak. There are enough good domains out there to not have to use this one.

Got it,I didn't picked this domain up because it had small amount of backlinks, another one I found in expireddomains was PR 2 about 1K backilnks with 11URL rating and 39 domain rating, along with some cheapo 4$ hosting
Hopefully this one will be good

39 DA is a best one. hope you get a huge one.

As djp said. DR or Domain Rating is an Ahrefs metric. 39 is "Okay", not amazing, but not bad either. Usually DR seems to hover around the 30 mark for most domains. Pushing hire for good domains (Anything over 50 is usually extremely good)
