When I see YouTube results on Google it shows their URL as www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX but if I build backlinks to this URL instead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX with the https:// added on would that make any difference SEO wise , like have some kind of hindrance ?

HTTPS = a secured site that is verified by a reputable company. You know that little green lockpad you seen in the address bar? That means you don't have to worry about sending your personal information over that site (because it's completely secure).
