does the domain name matter anymore?

I dont think old domain matters if you want to pass link juice & age authority. Even if it matters, it can change in the future. I wouldnt rely on that in my domain development plan. Try different top-level-domain, something like .co or .pro

I don't think someone will click on your page also if you are on Google's Top 10.
Many people look on the page url before they click and they are confused if they don't find the keywork they typed in google.
That's my opinion
