Does the content your backlink matter?

Say I post a backlink on a social media post that has a tonne of hateful comments eg. people complaining about trump or some other controversial issue. Would google penalize the link?

Cause it would be rarely a constructive discussion and just **** trump, he can kiss my a** or some other vulgarity etc.... Given all the comments would Google interpret the backlink content as say a porn website or adult related content?

Thanks for helping me out.

My site is about politics. So I am posting this on a facebook page about politics. Isn't that relevant? Just that the comments section is a cesspool.

Regardless of being relevant or not, i would not direct any non-approved comment backlinks to my money site
