The one where you use a girl as your profile pic and name
and mass comment on indian videos and a bunch of subscribers

This method will always work. I managed to get 50000 followers for my fb page with a fake girl profile.

Yes it is work very well to boost your subscribers number, it is work a lot with indians, but still work (less for sure) with US or EU country.
 
Got 114 subscribers with this method on youtube.

its not the world but it is something
