Does Text In Facebook Posts Affects SEO?

Hello, I'm gonna rank one facebook, but since I really do not know much how facebook is indexed and just how it works with SEO, I would like to ask someone more experienced here, if text in posts on fb page is indexed and if so, if it has impact on SEO of the facebook page. Thanks a lot for any replies.

Of course, it does. The text on a page helps Google determine the quality of that page and what it should rank for.
 
Exactly as the poster above said. How will G know what to rank it for if it disregards its content?
 
Name of page is important and fb inner page name (your page short name after the "/"). Texts/Posts are good for indexing fresh content, but I don't think that this have something to do with your ranking (keywords) plans.
 
Obviously it affects your site ranking. After all by post valuable content you will get top on search engine.
 
I think it does. I did see a facebook page ranking for hgcoupons.

So after all the answers did you actually make it, to rank that fb page?
 
Well think about this google likes content so yes having your content optimized on your facebook page will help.
