Does Super Seller Tag in Flippa hold any weight?

I have been playing with Flippa for awhile, found some nice sites there, but can't help but notice there is a high amount of too good to be true deal.

Some from very high profiled Super Seller with over 150k - 1m revenue (100% positive review). Funny that i spend most of my time doing due diligence instead of actually evaluating the value of the business.

Kind of make me wonder are those tags hold any weight? Would love to hear input from some experienced flippa users.

Someone being a 'Super Seller' doesn't mean much other than that they have a 100% positive feedback (or close) and that they've been around for a while and completed a certain number of transactions.

In fact, for someone looking to buy decent, revenue-generating properties, the seller being a "super seller" or just having a ton of transactions could be considered a huge red flag, rather than the opposite. In my 9 or so years in the industry, I'm yet to see anyone selling more than one decent, revenue-generating business a year. It simply doesn't make sense, and someone who's constantly doing this is either:

* Selling templates (which aren't of much use to anyone unless they don't know how to install WordPress and set up a theme);
* Flipping (but the quality of the sites that these guys sell is usually sub-par);
* a moron, as someone capable of building out 1 profitable site a month and do it on an ongoing basis / scale it would need to have something very seriously wrong with them to sell those sites off only a short while after.

So all in all, if you're looking for a template (I believe the term that Flippa uses is 'starter site') then definitely go with a Super Seller. But otherwise it's entirely irrelevant.

Really the only thing that tells you now is that the customers are getting what they buy. Most of the sites on flippa now are just slap together clone template sites.
