Hi, as the title says, anyone personally experienced such thing?

Do you always insert 500 tags in your videos or? What's your personal experience?

500 tags? that is beyond allowed limits.
tag stuffing will get you a strike on your account if ur video gets reviewed. it is against community guidelines.

it wont confuse algorithm based on my experience

Not sure what you mean by "confused" but it sure ain't going to help you rank.

Sounds like 'spammy' to me. I guess it looks the same for other search engines.

Seeing as you said 500 tags, that would have to be in the description. If you make it an actual text, it's REALLY good. But 500 tags would need at least 500 sentences then, so not worth your time. I usually write the keyword I'm targeting a handful of times in the description with flowing sentences. Ranks me higher or not, I don't know, just what I've heard.

Putting that many tags wont help your video in any way. Only use tags that are really relevant to your video and tags that acutally have search volume. Makes 0 sense in using a tag with 0 search results per month, it will just add clutter to your video. Use 10 tags that are really relevant to your video that have a decent amount of search volume per month (10k-100k is fine) with low-meduim competeition. But never be afraid to try and target high comp keywords because at the end of the day, the videos that rank are the ones with the best CTR/Watchtime from yt seach and subscribers.
