Does relevancy matter?

Based on my experience, the name of domain doesn't matter that much.
If you can choose between relevant domain and domain with good metrics, go for second option, that's for sure.
Search engines care more about metrics, imo.

I had bought an auction domain which is 23 years old. Build an authority health niche website on this domain. But its been 4 weeks my keywords are not showing anywhere in google search result. Even my post is indexed and i pointed some social signals and pbns too to things get fast but no result. My question! Does google sandbox aged domains too ? I check the archive of my domain. Domain was last active in 2015. And then it was parked for 4 years.

It's hard to tell, but that fact that it was parked for 4 years probably reset all previous domain's achievements and weight.
Usually people try to make that unused gap as less as possible, like a week maximum.

I was not aware. I did not check on archive. But now my keywords are start to show on google almost 20-30 number. Should I wait more to see result? Or should i have to invest in another domain which was not parked for long.

I would invest in auction domains dropped domains are hard and usually spammed to death. Good luck

Not sure Google does domain auctions do you mean you used the google domains page to register?
Best test is to check the domain is indexed in google searching site:yourdomain.com
But anyways I agree with the above comments, relevency is not too important and you can also kinda bend the relevancy to suit your niche.

Sorry I meant godaddy not google. Domain was good. It was about golf. Domain is receiving links from nytimes, washingtonpost, usatoday etc. but the bad thing which i did not checked before bid is that domain was parked for so long like about 4 to 5 years.

Did you check if it's indexed in google now? If it is then I think you can revive it, I've done that before well and surprisingly they boost right back up

yes all links of the website are indexed on google. There was a big company handling this domain in USA and they decided to change their domain to another thats why i purchased that domain because domain has zero spam score. No any toxic baclinks.Nice!

Nice what I would do is build it back up from when it was last a website so Google doesn't hiccup and drop it. Then slowly transition it into whatever you want.

You can check manual penalty in Google search console if you connect your domain. Other way is to do the site:yourdomain.com search, if it's not there it's dropped

Thats not true. I have seen domains parked for several years and still ranking for some keywords with just the parking page.

SERPS care.. who fucking know what they care about.
The truth is, the more topic related is the better, but if you need stats boost go for better stats domain.

Yes hoping to things get better. Until all referring domains start to show in my search console. I should not expect anything fast.Then it's doing well that's exactly what you want to see
