Yes, more karma makes you look more credible and trustworthy. Some reddit communities requires you to have a certain number of karma to join and participate.
but many such sections dont allow blog links or yutube links

Find subreddits which allows those links.....or a rarely moderated subreddit in your niche where you could post links. You can find many such subreddits from r/redditrequest
