Does Reddit checks IPs when you vote/comment or just Login?

Hello,

I am thinking of setting up 20-30 accounts with Multilogin and 4g Proxies to upvote and post comments. Since the 4g proxies are expensive I wanted to know if I can use them only when I log in to the accounts, and then save the sessions in Multilogin.

Will it work? Or will reddit check the IP before you post a comment or upvote. I want to use this to bump some threads I will be posting in some subreddits.

Now for the subreddit posts: So from my understanding I will have to post from a unique account to each subreddit. Will the content have to be unique for each post? Can I use the same set of accounts to comment and bump each post?

Thank you so much!

If you violate major with 1 account, they will then check IPs and ban all IPs currently related (at time of banning) , based on my past experiences

Small violations.. i think it's just email and browser

To complete GNews's answer. Based on previous experience, a major violation can be one of the followings:

1. Vote Manipulation
2. Involuntary Pornography (even if the original creator has published it on a tube website, your account is on thin ice)

There might be more to this (which def is); however, these two can cause serious damage to the account(s) operating from the same IP address. The first one is more serious and can affect multiple accounts at once, whilst the second one might cause a temporary shadowban and permanent ban for the posting account.

Although the quality of IP addresses is important, going 4G is wasteful. You can get your hands on a group of dedicated server IP addresses as long as you aren't spamming the platform that often.

Got it. For upvotes and comments do you think it's a bad idea to just buy the upvotes/comments. Or this could be risky, as those accounts are used daily for this purpose, and could get my URL banned?

It depends on how spammy your posts/comments are.

Not to mention the number of upvotes/downvotes. Ad to that how fast they are delivered.
Some subs are strict as fuck. You will get banned before you get to say 'reddit'.

If I'll post comments they will be all unique and won't give the impression of spam. I am looking to post in CryptoMoonShots. I know they are really strict.

And do you guys know any safe service to buy upvotes/comments. I was looking at reddit-marketing.pro and it looks appealing. Anyone used them?

I'm curious as well to this. I noticed that manually upvoting using a VPN does work but on the same device for up to 5 accounts.

With this comment i want to add that

Yes they do check IP, Account age, Account history, IP ranges, How fast the delivery is done, Method of delivery.
They made it universal for any client method.

even I have the same Q. I was using an incognito browser with 8 Reddit profiles all had 1 IP from the data center. I used the accounts to upvote my posts and I saw that earlier it was showing upvotes but later now it's not working out of 8 only 1 is able to upvote. I don't know if they have done something to the accounts or proxy or both. I am going to put diff proxies and test.

I was manually doing the upvotes 1 after 1 but I think that is also a factor to consider while voting manipulation.

I expect that they can see when some accounts are doing the same action on the same posts.
Maybe try and mix things up. Make the accounts do other random actions as well. Upvotes on other comments/posts. Drop some comments once in a while maybe.

Hey, a while ago I found out that all the 7 profiles are banned or blocked by Reddit but the thing is there is no notification or anything on the account I am able to surf and all but all previously done posts are also deleted.

When I go to the URL of the user from a different profile or incognito it says

Sorry, nobody on Reddit goes by that name.

The person may have been banned or the username is incorrect.

Ghosted and banned.
That is why you should always check your posts incognito or from another account.

I was not aware of this I thought if the profile is banned it will show on the account homepage or something or just won't login like other social networks.

On here I can surf Reddit from the banned profile.

I don’t know about Reddit but as a programmer I can tell you that any HTTP request is associated with an IP. (When you reload the page, that’s a request, when you like a comment, that’s a request, when you post a comment, that’s a request), So it’s VERY likely what you want won’t work, especially since POST request are usually validated more than GET requests.

They will indeed check the IPs along with the time interval between your upvotes and comments if you're doing too many.

Regarding the content, preferable to be unique. Content can be of the same niche but make sure you don't seem like a bot. You could try using another set of accounts to bump your content but don't reuse the same set again and again, could be suspicious.
