Hello,
I wonder if I make a reddit sub for my website, does it can count as good backlink ?

Go google it and show me a sidebar link there... reddit have been cloaking for some time so no point of dropping you link there.

Getting a backlink from it is one thing. Another thing is whether it will be beneficial to your website

yeah it would be good to do that, especially if you could build engagement on the subreddit too it'd be good for traffic as well

But will the mods let the link remain alive. If this was true, it will spam the reddit platform.

know that links on reddit are nofollow but since it would redirect people to visit your website and increase traffic than in my prespective it is worth it

Reddit sidebar links show as do-follow when viewing the subreddit's Google cache (showing some level of cloaking in action), and show up in GSC, but I haven't really seen any evidence that they're effective needle-pushers.

the subreddit needs to be strong to can see real results from that backlink.
