Whether it shall effect your SEO or not, you should worry about it later. Just ask yourself this question why anyone will read your article anyway and not read the other guy's article. The answer is because you are providing something extra. You can do a translation word to word but will it help you in the long run?!! NO!!
Writing in your own words that's a good idea. But also put your thoughts and shares in the article. Make it distinctive.
