I know about onpage but how about offpage? like web 2.0, profile linking, guest post? what if i purchased one of the seo package on bhw to rank a site on baidu? will it works too?

Yes, Offpage SEO could work on Baidu. Also they follow "The Great Firewall", that offers higher ranking to sites with content written in Chinese languages and sites with server located in China

Baidu, much the same as Google, takes both quality and quantity into account when looking at a site's off-page SEO profile.

The most useful job on Baidu is to do Baidu advertising promotion. The search results on the first page of Baidu are all content of Baidu's own products.
