Hello fellows,

If I create an image-first website, with little descriptions, captions (only for context for example) can this be a way to get traffic from Google image search?

I mean I dont want to focus on text search but images search rank, is there any tool where I can see the position in the Google images or that gives informations of low competition images keywords?

Thank you

Yes, it very much does.

You can check how your website is doing with site: operator. Go to Image Tab and type:
Code:
site:yourdomain.com

To check a single image use src: operator:
Code:
src:https://yourdomains.com/image-path.jpg

Yes, if your niche is more focused in images you will get traffic from Google images. Make sure to put your keyword in the filename and the alt attribute

Absolutely, image-first sites can bank on Google Image search, especially if they're high-quality and relevant. Make sure you nail the alt-texts and captions. A combo of good on-page SEO and file naming conventions is a solid approach.

Thank you guys.

How should the text content be?
Im really not looing to make articles-like text content

It will be difficult to rank such pages because there is a lot of competition in images but if you can think out of the box and create images that aren't available on stock images websites, then you can get good traffic.

Yep, on on one of my sites it was bringing a high percentage of overall traffic (don't know the exact number and can't be bothered to check rn) compared to my other sites. It was a site where I took all the photos myself and since I was the only one doing this in my niche I was getting much more visits from image search than I usually got on other websites with generic/stock images.

Yes you can do this some times attractive images became a source of Good Traffic.

it depends on your niche

Yes, ranking images can bring traffic to websites. Search engines prioritize images with relevant titles, alt text, and captions, making them more visible in search engine results and driving more traffic to the website.
