Does rank an ecommerce work like a normal website?

Hey guys, I want to sell some products and I need your help to start.
Creating a website is simple. You install wordpress, a theme, two plugins and start writing. Then you create GSC and send everything to Google. But how does it work for an ecommerce? Which pages should be sent to GSC? And how do you create the sitemap? Is there anything to exclude?
The more info you give me, the more data I will have to start.

No, it will not work for e-commerce. blogging SEO and e-commerce SEO are different to many extent and aspects.
