Does pyramid link-building work?

There are many pyramid link-building services on marketplaces like Fiverr, and they have thousands of excellent reviews. They claim they are safe and in compliance with search engine requirements.

As I understand, they use content farms to create links to all their customers. Does the Google algorithm capable of recognising this pattern?

Do they really improve the google ranking? If no, how do they have so many happy customers?

Pyramid link building works but it really depends on how it's done.
Link building is against google tos so I'm not sure how they can be "in compliance with search engine requirements".
At times, I use those services for my tier 1 links and I see no problem.
If done properly, I can use on my money site as well but I prefer to build web2 and such for my money site manually (myself) to make sure I have full control.

LOOOOL. Search engines (and google specifically) have no requirements for link building because they hate link building altogether. So funny hearing Fiverr SEOs "sir, I comply with google when I build you 1 million links, sir" :D

google can't catch everything, so if you do things right you can get away with it

hell yeah! But like I said, only if you do it right (no anchor text overoptimization, only using safe links as tier 1, etc)

who says they are happy customers? We live in the age of deceit and manipulation, mate! Everything can be faked
 
Tiered link building is pyramid link building actually, so yes, it still works. But you’ll need to index the links manually, indexers don’t work, and google will never index your t2 and t3 links.

There are many ways to create tons of fake positive Fiverr service reviews.

There are also people who don’t understand SEO that well thinking they’re buying food services form Fiverr because they’ve never researched the industry.

Also, nearly any form of link building is considered blackhat and illegitimate baby officially in the eyes of Google.

I believe they refer to them as link schemes. Check this out:

As long as they are done in the right way, you will not have any issues. Ask for a few references from the service providers compare it, then choose the reliable one.
 
Yes , they still working as pingers and for quick indexing for tier 2 and tier 1 links !

Yes it works but it should work in a very careful manner, don't trust on fiverr guys because they do spam or buy from seoclerk.

Pyramid links will have credibility, which acts as a boost for increasing traffic to your website. After link building, the site will have better SEO rankings and higher metrics. There will be an increase in site traffic with the perfect backlinks.
 
Pyramid link-building will work or not work for SEO, depending on the quality and strategies utilized for the pyramid link-buildinging. Hence, any unnatural links might get your websites penalized by Google.
 
This is called tiered link building.

It used to work like a charm back in the day, but now that Google is leaning more on artificial intelligence for its indexing as well as ranking decisions, this technique has pretty much gone the way of the dodo bird.

I'm talking, of course, using tiered link building using web 2.0 properties and low-quality pages.

If you are thinking of using actual high-value content to build tiers of link connections from high-domain authority pages, this can still work.

But of course, the technique I mentioned above is also going to be more expensive and require a lot of time and effort.

web2.0 sites where you have a subdomain with your content, does not count as high-domain authority page, becaus ethe high DA of the web2.0 domain does not give linkjuice to your subdomain.

nothing is safe but it works. Any and every kind of link works, it all depends on how you are using them

so google hates in general link building, but the big guys in the web spend millions $$ every year on seo and link building- paradox?

you probably meant to say irony instead of paradox, but let's not get into semantics (mainly because I might be wrong, too :p)

Just because the big guys spend millions doesn't mean that google doesn't hate them, too. Google hates everyone that doesn't align with their objectives, and link builders in particular never lie with any of google's objectives. And the reason (or one of them anyway, because there might be more) for which the big guys spend millions on SEO and link building is because SEO still works, but it works easier when you have the millions to spend.
 
Fiver links can work but not sure that Google will not detect you.
Because only of positive reviews, you cannot judge the links worked !

The safest way is to direct such links to your web 2.0 pages
You can even TIGHTEN the value of your web 2.0 outbound link juice by linking to guest posts or do follow press releases of yours located ON THIRD PARTY SITES
