Does purchasing traffic impact SEO?

I'm considering purchasing traffic. I will only be sending like 30-40 visitors per day. Just traffic to boost the number of visitors per day.

Will it impact on my SEO? There is no google adsense on my site.

In my experience, no impact if you're reasonably careful with the traffic purchase. 30-40 visitors isn't much, not sure what you'd get out of that since most of the traffic will not register on external measurement sites like Alexa.
 
traffic can help you..one of my sites started taking good traffic from StumbleUpon.The next days -without to change anything-Google improved my rankings.I dont agree about purchasing traffic.I d spend at some Social Bookmarking fiverrs if i was you
 
I am not planning on these individuals converting into customers, nor am I trying to improve my alexia rankings. I just need another 30-40 visitors per day to one particular site. Very black hat activity :-P any suggestions for the most "legit" traffic provider I can find? I will pay $$$.

Also, I would social bookmark, but I don't want to bombard my website unnaturally with links. I need steady traffic every day. That would be a LOT of bookmarks!
 
I have a site that gets about 50 visitors a day, they are gamers so i can redirect them to you if you like?

Think the general consensus here is traffic isnt likely to do anything to your SEO
 
Concern about quality backlinks and unique content instead of traffic
 
Thanks everyone :) I see now I confused everyone; I was meaning will it NEGATIVELY impact my SEO. I know it won't help it :)
 
Should not, unless you've got Google Analytics on and your bounce rate dips [quite a bit] as a result of buying traffic. If that's not the case, there's no impact buying traffic should have on your SEO.
