Does Prosper202 track campaigns activity ?!

Hi Members,

I have just installed a copy of Prosper202 free software to track my affiliate Campaigns..

I notice that when I use the Menu's it looks like it monitors and report my activity to 3rd party.

Am I right? I will be glad to know..

I know that many affiliates are using their free tracking tool for tracking campaigns.
BUT my question is: Do prosper creators use their software to trace the activity of affiliates that install their software? means that they track which affiliate offers converts etc'

I need to know that.. Thanks!

Not sure if the prosper202 creators would track your activity or not. But other smart affiliates can track your urls :)

Watch Traffic Blackbook by Chad. I remember seeing a video in this course, where he showed how to protect your tracking data from other smart affiliates :)You may want to go through that course :cool:

BUT I still need an accurate answer for my question.. :)

Does someone know the answer please??
 
I'm not sure if it reports it to 3rd party since I haven't really checked the code. I highly doubt that it happens because a lot of marketers use it (including myself) and besides, it's not like your affiliate manager is looking over that information, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

It makes sense. I also googled and didn't find any bad comment, only positive.
The only issue is their advertising banners at the "home" page.. :-)

It's open source, so you shouldn't expect anything more. Good luck on your campaigns though.
