Does PR really worth Now ?

Spam score -/17 what does this mean

It means that there is no Spam Score for that website and hence, is safe for use by Moz metrics. Their spam score is messed and unless it is too high I would not worry too much about it anyways.

Google supposedly uses around 200 metrics and obviously they weight them all different. I am not an expert, however, I believe PA and DA carry much more weight than most people think. PR is at the core of the Google algorithm and they are routinely making changes to improve results. I don't think they have enough other good metrics to use and that's why they still rely on it. Just my opinion based on what I see in the search results.

PA and DA are not Google and have nothing to do with Google.

People are confusing PR and Toolbar PR. PR is still calculated internally. Toolbar PR is the aggregate value that has not been updated in a year and a half. Even Toolbar PR was an old value when it was updated. It's not real-time.

PR is still Google's most important metric. They just don't publish it anymore and there's no way for you to get it from others. Moz and Alexa are only rough estimates. Real PR can only be calculated with a bot like Googlebot scraping petabytes a day.

PR is still Google's most important metric.

YEah most of the PBN service provider are using expired Pr DOmains with Tier 1,2,3 Backlink Architecture. This complies that PR still has some value left whereas relevant Backlinks are still going rock solid.

spam score my asÅ›. it could be a good metric IF ONLY they focus only on actual and factual spam data. which means the score only applied when spam is committed, when spam actually has been done, but they score by accusing, assuming, from judgmental stupid signs.

i was laughing so hard when first look into this most useless metric will ever be. TLD correlated with spam domains, Domain name length, Domain name contains numerals, etc. Yes, those COULD BE POSSIBLY MAYBE the signs of spammer operation, but it is not spam till spam is ACTUALLY done on such kind of sites.

And it is their job to write advanced algo to extract ACTUAL spam actions from ACTUAL data then ONLY apply the spam score ONLY based on that, not based on signs or prophecy. I be like... Fishkin has fish on his name so Rand is half-animal or be like... chicken has two legs, Fishkin has two legs so Fishkin is Chicken.

if more and more people fall into stupid metrics, I'd rather exile my self to Middle-Earth to live with dragons and such. They actually exist, mind.

Yes it is and is not publicly available to everyone. It stays within the Google's database.
may be you can get to know the real page rank, if you have friend in Google :)

Page rank is still one of the parameters used by Google. However, domain authority, page authority, trust factor they are also very important if you look for any website. Rest depends on the quality of the content, well structured and basic things.

We can't ignore PR it is still one of the important parameter. But I guess the quality of content of your page is also matter. So before think about the Ranking prepare your page in a well structured manner.

PR is not a solid indicator of a site's strength. Better to use majestic (trust and citation flow) or ahrefs domain rank.
Even moz pa/da is not as accurate.

PR is good indicator to start with but relying solely on it brings you trouble.
If you looking at 100k domain, best thing to is:

1. Filter by PR, so get ride of PR0 , 1, 2, NA ( this reduce your list few thousand)
2. Then check DA & PA
3. check backlinks from backlink finders and see if link profile match PR.

using combination of various metrics helps you and reduce your time and effort

The only benefit i see with PR, is that it helps filter out old domains that use to matter ;) ... But i don't solely rely on PR anymore.. Its one of the less important factors, that's all..

PR is now dead :3 Concentrate on your serp rankings :) I dont even remember the last time i checked my PR -_-

PR is done. Use Other metrics such as Majestic and Moz that is regularly updated.
