Does Ping Studio help?

I downloaded Ping Studio from this forum and have tried it on a few of my sites. I don't really see any difference in ranking. Has anyone had better luck than me? Is that what it's supposed to do? Forgive my ignorance but I am new at this.

The goal of Ping Studio is to signal the existence of a backlink to Google so it index it faster; it can help, but it won't do miracles and you'll need to wait a few days. Furthermore, if you want to see any difference in ranking, the pinged backlink still need to be high-quality.

Thanks Van, the program has about 3500 sites loaded in it so I don't know if they are good or not.

I think the file you can download with it, comes with 35K sites.
