Does PayD*otC*om catch buying through own link

I saw something recently on PD*C that I was actually thinking of buying. I have a P*DC account, so it would be easy to set up a link using my aff ID.

Their TOS strictly forbids it and says their software will automatically catch and prevent it.

Has anyone tried?

I don't sell much through my PD*C account so it would probably stand out. I've bought a few things through my CB account with no problem.

I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up another account. The item is only $37 so it isn't that big of a deal anyway.

Don't know if they can catch you but I avoided this by having a second account and of course it worked perfectly many times.

I was once in the same situation and what I did was I had one of my friend purchase it for me with my affiliate link and later I paid him. So I got my commission on that. You can try this, It should work for you . Just make sure he uses his credit card and different computer.

Unlike Clickspank, PDC actually seems to care if you buy through your own link. The easy workaround is to just set up another account like the previous poster said. But, why do you want to pay for it at all; is it something that can't be h@cked and shared here?

You won't be able to buy from your own link. If it isn't such a big deal, just buy it. Especially if you feel that the product is worth the price.

yeah I once bought with my own link (didn't know its against their TOS) and got banned in minutes.

I do think the product is worth the price, which is why I am going to buy it.

I was going to have a friend buy it for me and pay him back. The item works with WordPress so it will probably need constant upgrades and I want to make sure I get on the mailing list for upgrades and bug fixes. I'll probably just set up a gmail account for my friend and have him use that for his email account.
