Does Onlywire Still Work?

I had signed up with all the bookmarking sites that onlywire serves and then bookmarked a page on my website using it, but i didn't see my page appears on these bookmarking sites? :confused:
I tried to bookmark another page manually through these bookmarking sites's add ons and it appeared on their homepage as new bookmark.

Does onlywire still work? :confused:

I use it almost every day at least once and I've been doing it now for at least 4 months now. I haven't noticed any significant traffic but you also don't want to only be BM you're own sites. From what I've read on this forum and off it takes a little time for it to kick in. I'm just not sure it takes 4 months either lol.

Even doing it as recent as today I can't say i notice a huge difference in any traffic period. I'm also not a BM specialist by any means.

Just my 2 cents.
 
My understanding is that socialmarker.com is a lot more effective. More bookmarks go through.

question about bookmarking your own sites: how would google know they are all your own sites?
 
They could track the IP that it's hosted on. It's also a concern that the social bookmarking sites themselves would figure this out and can you.

yep, especially shared hosts as all of your sites show the same IP address for the site itself.

Best to mix in a few other sites every now and then, limit your sites to a ratio of about 1 of your sites to 5 other sites.
 
I just throw in a few of my favorite sites to visit that are not in competition with me, like gamespot and whatnot.

The problem is i didn't see my page on these bookmaring sites after i bookmarked it using onlywire.
Or there is a delay after we submit it using onlywire? how long?
 
Onlywire, only sort of worked for me. Most of the bookmarks that you submit never actually appear in the bookmark site unfortunately. Some do, alot don't.

So that is why I created http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/white-hat-seo/www.submitchamp.com for myself to use. At the moment it is a free service (so it might be a good idea to sign up soon) at least till I think of how I want to monetize the traffic I get on there.

So basically check the link submi champ in this posts sig..

Ditto to that, you are obviously submitting more of your content to more channels through socialmarker.com It only takes about 15 mins to run your site through the various platforms

Overall i feel its more worth your time, for the above mentioned reason
 
Yeah, it doesn't seem like the people at onlywire are working too hard to keep that tool working :(
