Is it worthy to pay Youtube for promoting new video? Has it any effect or is it just a cash grab?

If you want to promote a product or service and reach customers, it's well worth it with a good strategy; if your goal is to build an audience, I see it as less profitable.

It is orientate to purchase ads or pay to promote with a new video upload to derive premium interest engagement growth services that can be achieve using the paid/ads option.
 
Worth it only if the video already has strong retention and a good hook. Ads give exposure, not growth. Bad video = wasted money. Good video = maybe useful for testing.
 
It does somewhat work to an extend, I don’t think it’s good for niches like crypto/forex though. I’ve mainly seen it do good numbers in music vids.
 
YouTube’s official “Promote” option can help get initial visibility, but it mainly boosts short-term views; its long-term SEO and organic growth impact is limited, so use it strategically rather than expecting guaranteed lasting results.

YouTube promotions can boost views and initial visibility, but they rarely build a loyal audience or long-term growth. It’s useful for testing or awareness, not a replacement for good content, SEO, and consistency.
 
It might be worth it if you are promoting some kind of product, if you are trying to promote your own videos - avoid it.
 
It's just like Google ads. If you have a product like a movie trailer, advertisement, public announcement, etc., you can use promote option to reach more people. If you just want to grow a channel, it won't help much.

Yes, YouTube Promote works, but it is basically paid ads. You will get more views while you are paying. It does not automatically boost your organic growth long term. Once you stop paying, the extra reach usually stops too.

It can help with initial exposure, but it is not a magic growth trick.

it is definitely worth promoting your videos, but not through youtube entirely, you can use 20% promotion from youtube and the rest from a panel because it is effective and cheaper, however you need to go to the right place, because there tons of agencies that will market their services which may not work, very few work at the moment.
 
It depends on the content, of course, but basically YouTube just pumps out money.
 
I think it's based on what product you want to promote and how you will promote it
 
I’m curious about this too. Does YouTube Promote actually help organic performance after the campaign, or is it just paid views with no long-term effect?

Many people still use this method to speed up channel growth in the early stages. It’s a common practice, and a lot of people apply it.
